Dedicated to serving Canadian senior citizens, The Nissan Canada Foundation helps raise funds and provides grants and vehicles to non-profit organizations such as Meals On Wheels and elder abuse agencies. Nissan vehicles are on long-term loan to Meals On Wheels agencies across Canada, delivering hot food to elderly shut-ins. And during recent natural disasters, Nissan vehicles and volunteers helped ferry seniors to and from emergency shelters. The Nissan Canada Foundation also sponsors a major annual marathon and walk-a-thon. Last year, the marathon/walk-a-thon raised $400,000.

Nissan Canada Foundation—Delivering Support
At Nissan, making a difference isn’t just a vision—it’s a reality. The Nissan Canada Foundation was created in 1993 by providing vehicles to Canadian Seniors and organizations in need. We are primarily dedicated to supporting Meals on Wheels.
Currently, the foundation provides over 50 Nissan vehicles on a loan basis to over 30 agencies and delivers hot meals all across Canada. The Nissan Canada Foundation is involved in many local efforts. We sponsor runs such as the Toronto Challenge, to raise money for Toronto Homes For the Aged and participate in fundraising through our annual golf tournament. By offering ongoing support, we hope to maintain strong ties within the community.
